Nike, the rain princess, arrives in the Sun Kingdom for her marriage to the Sun King. Complications arise, however, when her things are stolen and she cannot reach the palace.

Having just discovered that Livius is only a child, Nike's shock is only exacerbated when he orders her to bring forth rain for his entertainment.

In order to present Nike as Livius' bride, a grand party is held in honor of her marriage to the Sun King.
E4 | Ring of Tales ~ Part 1
The Priesthood, wary of foreigners like Nike, will not sanction her and Livius' marriage until she is proven worthy. Thus the "Rite of Illumination" begins.

Nike enters the cave in order to undertake the Rite of Illumination, but must run for her life after a sudden betrayal.
