As Orphen and Majic are threatened by a girl named Cleao and her two troll servants, the sky becomes dark and ghosts emerge. Everyone retreats--except Orphen.
The Bloody August retreats after Orphen fights it, and Orphen is tracked by his old school friend, Hartia. The Bloody August returns, kidnapping Cleao and Mariabelle.
Orphen goes to rescue the girls, coming face-to-face with the Bloody August. Orphen and Majic start a new adventure to save Azalie, and Cleao tags along.
As the gang is traveling to save Azalie, they try to reach a resort to get their companions back, only to be thwarted by a metal guardian and... flowers?!
Majic stumbles upon a girl who belongs to a strange cult. One if its members is harboring a secret, and Orphen, Majic, and Cleao try to figure out what he is hiding.
Orphen and the gang decide to go to the ruins of Baltanders, coming across some familiar symbolism. Orphen then retrieves an object he left behind when he was younger.
As Orphen, Majic and Cleao continue their adventure, Orphen reveals to his friends how Azalie's hunger for knowledge made her what she is, among other, more harrowing details.
The city of Algonhotten is famous. Cleao is more than happy to go, but it's also the hometown of Orphen's previous partner, and something isn't quite right about the place.

Orphen and friends set out to find the author Rox Roe, traveling through an old mining town on the way. While taking a rest, they hear the story of a mysterious sorcerer.
The gang continues on their quest to find Rox Roe, stopping in a volcano town. Meanwhile, Flameheart and the Black Tiger set out with different reasons to find Orphen.
Orphen and friends finally arrive at the home of Rox Roe, looking for a way to save Azalie, but they are not the only ones with the desire to meet the old sorcerer!
Orphen and friends set out to get back the sword of Baltanders, which is with Volcan and Dortin. A chase around a very large tree known as the Giga Sequoia ensues.
Volcan and Dortin are given the task of healing the Bloody August while the gang returns to the Ruins. Meanwhile, many sorcerers wonder at the sudden change in Childman.
Orphen and friends look for clues about the third talisman, while Volcan and Dortin try to tame the Bloody August. Flameheart sets out to do more than tame the beast.
Upon hearing the truth, Orphen goes to see Azalie to find out the truth behind her motives. Flameheart and his mother continue with their plot to conquer the Tower of Fang.
